The superbike & supercar fastest runs were similar Elapsed Times with a blistering 9.48sec run by Hemanth Mudappa from Bangalore. • Fastest Indian Car was the Tuned Honda Accord from the Race Concept stable with Sagar C. Dangat clocking awesome run time of 11.44sec. • The girl power this year at Valley Run was at Its best. Amazing quarter mile timings clocked by Geeta Patil in the Mercedes Benz & Alvina Sheikh in the Hyundai Getz in the 4W & the fastest female was Shweta Chitrode in the 2W on her Suzuki Hayabusa. • Fastest Indian Rider Shah Rukh Khan from Mantra Racing clocked an amazing timing of 11.79sec. • The event comprises of drag racing, display arena, drifting by KS Motorsport with JK Tyre amplifying the segment with Sanam Sekon, Bobbie Bhogal in the Stunt Cars. Stunting by the awesome team from TVS Racing & Sachin Riderboy’s special segments alongwith many other highlights. • The Special New introduction to this format was the Mud Drags showcase event held in association with Off-Road Junkie. This format was participated extensively & is a sure shot permanent element in future. • A lot of special runs that deserve mention is N1 Racing Tuned VW Polo driven by Gaurav Shetty, bettering his time to 11.59sec and probably of the fastest polo’s in the world. • Ajit Suvarna’s 9Sec Fastest Wheelie Record was another crowd favourite. Part of the Team Flying Pistonss who have been an integral part of the Valley Run series since inception & bagging 30 Podiums from their 60 entries. The Valley Run Summer – 12 th Ediition is Powered by JK Tyre & Levitas Ultra, Vamcy Merla, AMG-Driving Performance as the official Pace Cars, Monster Energy as the Energy Partner, TVS Motors, Big Boy Toyz, Car Commune & many more for making this a grand success. The Summer Edition was a special one with International presence. Mr. Mark Hughes from NHRA witnessed the immense talent and passion of the Indian Drag Racing community & the official Monster Energy Girls further amplified the special segments to another level. With an approx 500 number of racer entries and gatherin of over 6000 spectaors over the 2 days – it is India’s biggest festival speed. With an official Approval from the Motorsport Governing body of India – The FMSCI (Federation of Motor Sport Clubs of India). The 12 th editon of the mega series was a treat. Most important aspect was the quality of Participation. Every category had something special for everyone – from 2 strokes, 4 strokes, Indian Modified cars, Packed Superbike Classes & turnout of exclusively tuned Supercar Classes.
