Jaden Pariat ready to bounce back at Oulton Park

Jaden Pariat is set to return to the F4 British Championship this weekend (June 16-18) as the series heads to Oulton Park in Cheshire, for rounds 13, 14, and 15 of the 2023 season.

The youngster from northeast India was recovering from injury at Thruxton last time out, and having missed test days, brought home results which did not reflect his pace or potential. Despite that, Jaden and the team at Phynsis by Argenti have been working hard in order to put their best foot forward at Oulton Park, optimistic that they’ll bag more crucial points to help boost the teenager back up towards the top ten in the Drivers’ Championship standings.

The weekend will begin on Friday, June 16th with two sessions of free practice on the Cheshire venue’s 2.26-mile Island layout. Qualifying is set for 10:40 BST (15:10 IST) on Saturday, June 17th, followed by the first race of the weekend at 14:30 (19:00). On Sunday, June 18th, race two will take place at 12:55 (17:25), with live coverage on ITV1 and ITVX in the UK, while the the final contest is schedled for 16:35 (21:05), and will be shown live on ITV4.

“I’m looking forward to going to Oulton Park. We’ve had only a day of testing there, but I like the circuit and think it might suit us quite well. I’m hoping for a good weekend to bounce back from the previous two rounds where we’ve experienced some bad luck.

“When we tested there back in February, it was really cold and wet, and it’s looking like the weather is going to be warm and sunny this time out, so it will be like a completely different track. It’s very technical and probably one of the tougher circuits on the calendar but it’s very fun to drive. There are definitely places for overtaking opportunities, but it’s also quote narrow, so qualifying is going to be key, so we’ll do the best we can to try and set the weekend up well.

“We’re already at the halfway point of the season and I’ve really been enjoying working with the team at Phynsis by Argenti and I’m excited for the rest of the season.”
