Maintaining a spectacular average of 80% race wins till date, PETRONAS TVS Racing – a pioneer in motorsports since 1982, has concluded the 2022 Indian National Supercross Championship in a thrilling manner bringing home the winning title. India’s first factory racing team ‘PETRONAS TVS’ also made a clean sweep in the final round of the championship by sealing all four categories participated.
- Rugved Barguje wins Group A Foreign Open class up to 500 cc category overall in the championship astride TR 300X, experienced and famed rider C D Jinan finished at P2
- Young and promising riders Ikshan Shanbhag and Prajwal V too had an incredible run in this round
- Imran Pasha bagged the winner’s title of Group C Indian Experts up to 260 cc class overall riding the TR 200X based on RTR 200
- Banteilang Jyrwa clinched the Group C Novice up to 260 cc category title in the 2022 season on his TR 200X based on RTR 200
- Sachin D won the Local Bangalore riders class riding TR 200X based on RTR 200
- PETRONAS TVS Racing pulled off an electrifying clean sweep in the final round
- The factory racing team won all four categories participated in the final round of the 2022 SX National Championship
- With this, the factory racing team has achieved 100% win rate winning 3 out of 3 championships participated this year with the top notch and consistent performance in all 6 rounds this year, further building its already established & proven track record
- PETRONAS TVS Racing swept 12 out of 13 podium (Top 3) position possibilities in the final round
