India’s Myra Shanbhag Finishes Outstanding 6th Overall Among 208 Drivers, Secures Women’s Runner-Up Spot at SWS Singapore Sprint Race
Singapore, 2026: Young Indian karting talent Myra Shanbhag delivered a remarkable performance at the Sodi World Series (SWS) Singapore Sprint Race Rounds 9 & 10, finishing an impressive 6th overall out of 208 racers while also securing 2nd place in the Women’s category.
Representing India on the international stage, Myra showcased exceptional speed, consistency, and racecraft throughout the highly competitive event held at the renowned KF1 Karting Circuit, Singapore. Competing against a massive field of experienced international drivers, the young Indian racer demonstrated her growing potential and ability to compete at the highest levels of rental kart racing.
The weekend was filled with intense wheel-to-wheel battles, strategic overtakes, and challenging race conditions, but Myra remained focused and determined, ultimately earning one of her strongest international results to date.
“It was an incredible weekend of racing. Competing against more than 100 drivers per race and finishing sixth overall while also securing second place in the women’s category is something I’m really proud of. Every race teaches me something new, and I’m grateful for the support of everyone who has been part of this journey. This result motivates me to keep pushing harder and aiming even higher,” said Myra Shanbhag.
Myra’s achievement marks another important milestone for Indian motorsport, highlighting the growing presence of Indian female racers competing successfully on international circuits.
