India’s young karting talent Mitansh Jain continued to demonstrate his growing skill and fighting spirit during Rounds 2 and 3 of the IAME UAE Series, held over the weekend in Dubai.
Round 2 (Saturday):
Mitansh started the weekend on a high note, securing pole position in qualifying, showcasing his impressive speed and control on track. However, a few mistakes and penalties in the heat, prefinal, and final meant he couldn’t convert the strong start into the result he had the pace for. Despite the setbacks, Mitansh took valuable learnings and positives from the day to carry forward.
Round 3 (Sunday):
A solid qualifying performance again put Mitansh in a promising position for the races ahead. Unfortunately, technical issues in the final race hindered his charge, forcing him to battle through a difficult finish. Nevertheless, the young Indian driver displayed resilience and focus, determined to bounce back stronger in the upcoming rounds.
Speaking after the event, Mitansh Jain said:
“It was a challenging weekend overall. We had the pace and potential, especially after taking pole in Round 2, but mistakes and technical issues cost us crucial results. That’s racing — we learn, regroup, and come back stronger.”
With every race, Mitansh continues to build experience and consistency in international karting competition, proudly representing India on the global stage.
