Top Women athletes of all over India in Motorsports who have represented the India in National & International Levels were felicitated by the Honorable Sports Minister of India Shri. Kiren Rijiju on the occasion of International Women’s Day on 8th March 2021 in New Delhi to commemorate the participation of women in Motorsports and seek his blessings for the glorious future.
Shri. Kiren Rijiju was very encouraging to the girls present expressed his keen interest in motorsports and mentioned that this is an adventure sports that needs to be highlighted and more visibility to be given in order for Indian Motorsports to be recognized as a highly skilled sport. He expressed that India has a great talent for Motorsports and should now be ready for the next level & his endeavor to popularize this sport like how it is in the other international countries.
Organized & Conceptualized by Indian Motoring, this prestigious event has been the 1st time in the history of Indian Motorsports that all women athletes were at our Country’s Highest Level of Sport’s Office!
Aashi Hanspal, Aditi Krishnan, Aishwarya pissay, Anupama Bindra, Anushriya Gulati, Aman Jubbal, Garima Avtar, Keshavi Chahar, Khyati Mody, Kshamta Yadav, Manisha Kelkar, Muskaan Jubbal, Nabam Asha, Neha Sinha, Niharika Yadav, Pallavi Yadav, Phoebe Dale Nongrum, Sireesha, Sneha Sharma were amongst the Top women athletes from India to be present there who are ‘breaking barriers in Indian motorsports’.
